Closed Circuit TV (CCTV):

There are a variety of CCTV cameras available through Maxim Securities and they range from internal mini dome cameras to external fully functional IP cameras. In short each system is unique in its own way and we will design each system to suit your specific needs. Each CCTV camera will be fitted with a suitable lens, some have them built-in and others need to be specified separately, again it depends on your specific needs.

 

If it is an external CCTV camera we will ensure that the correct housing is selected so that the camera is protected against the weather conditions and vandalism. Each Housing will have its own bracket and there are a number of different options available from Wall Mounted to Pole Mounted options.

 

Monitors:

The picture quality on a security monitor is much higher than on a normal TV. This is especially important for viewing multiple camera images when using a video splitter. For the highest image quality in your recorded video during playback, security monitors can show details that could never be seen by a TV.

We also offer flat screen, high resolution plasma and TFT screens for most sizes up to 50'' for control rooms and operation centre’s.

 

Recording:
It has become very important for our customers to select the correct recording equipment. Gone are the days of VHS cassette (although still used) recording where if you had a 16 camera system and it recorded on a 3 hour VHS cassette over a 24 hour period, you only got about 0.25 frames per second. Compare that to a Digital Video Recorder that can give you a much improved recording solution and you can achieve anything up to 25 frames per second live and recorded images
